We Have Moved!

Over the last month it has been very busy in the garden railway world for us, not only the preparing for the AGM, (12th of April) but we have also been preparing to move into our new premises, so some of us swapped the cardboard boxes for paint brushes and got busy!

We are not fully complete, some walls need another lick of paint as well as other minor things but we are now mostly moved in!

So what does this mean to you? Well some quite exciting things are happening that will make shopping and interacting with us much easier.

Firstly the biggest and most important difference is we now have a shop/showroom that you can visit, this allows the ability to look at all our products first hand and purchase from us, as well as an opportunity to let you ask us any questions as you are looking at products, a service which an online store cannot give. But please be aware the workshop staff do not work everyday so if you intend to visit our shop and have some very technical questions we do advise you phone before coming to ensure a member of the workshop can be present.

We are also venturing down the path of Youtube, we have used Blogger, Facebook and Twitter for a number of years now and it is a great way of talking to all of you who are part of our social network family. But we want to take this one step further, you may have seen that our youtube channel has some videos uploaded that have been sent into us by some of you through our email and other social media pages, and we do intend to keep this up, anyone is welcome to send in pictures and videos of their layouts with a write up for us to use (and of course we give credit to you in anything that we get sent!). As well as this we are going to be uploading videos that we have created, these videos will consist of 'how to' videos, overviews of new products as well as many others. Which some may find easier than our written manuals and the comments section allows us to share thoughts and help to one another.

Lastly there will be more products for you to choose from as the increase in space is allowing us to become stockiest of more products from brands new to us!

We hope you are able to share with us this exciting new phase in our development and we look forward to working with you in our future journey.

Paul Cotton's Enhancements

These pictures were sent in by Paul Cotton, featuring many of the Upgrades we stock, as well as creating a displacement lubricator himself. Paul has told us that his Loco now runs very well, and is pleased with the result.

Lloyd Edwards Mamod

This picture was sent in by Lloyd Edwards. After seeing that we stock the Mamod MK2, Lloyd emailed to say the loco's are good quality and how much he enjoys running his MK2. This particular loco features a Dream Steam Buffer Beams which are typically used on MSS loco's.

Lloyd told us "The holes line up for the plate bolts,  the original hook was bent back but could be cut flush too. Easy fit."

Andreas Lacher's Layout

These photos were sent in by Andreas Lacher, featuring a Regner Chaloner with Long John the driver,  Mickey Mallones Fine Spirits Est. 1903 - Whisky and beer, a "freelance" welsh shop and Mickey reading his daily paper.

Tim Duncan's Enhancements

This Picture was sent in by Tim Duncan, who met us at Stoneleigh in 2011. This Loco in progress features many DreamSteamWorks upgrades, including our high pressure Safety Valve, Pressure Gauge with Syphon among others.
